REDWOODS NATIONAL PARK MICRO-WEDDING ON SUPER 8 FILM

Kendyl + Jon had such a beautiful and intimate wedding in the Redwoods National Park in the fall.  I had the privilege of shooting their wedding photos as well as a highlight video of their wedding on Super 8mm film.  I love shooting highlight videos on Super 8 because of the nostalgic and handheld qualities, plus I love film, so this medium combines a lot of loves for me. 

I drove down to the Redwoods from Bend with my friend Daniel who helped me capture their day, and we camped out in the national park for a few nights to make a really memorable camping trip out of it.  Watch their highlight video below! 

When I get to shoot highlight videos on super 8, I use my grandpa’s old camera that he passed down to me, and it works just like it did back in the 80’s when he was using it.  Creating these wedding highlight videos on Super 8 is something I hope to keep doing for a while down the road.  For those couples who don’t want to be heavily posed and enjoy the storytelling aspect in wedding videos, this is for you !!
