Melissa and Brennen had a last-minute change of plans due to wildfires that swept through northwest Washington, and decided to get married on a boat instead. Yep, you heard that right - A BOAT. The day began at their parents lake house on Lake Samish, where Melissa and Brennen got ready, followed by a first look surrounded by family and friends overlooking the beautiful lake. We then headed north to Bellingham where we all boarded a cruise ship and sailed around the San Juan Islands. Their wedding was one of a kind, having an intimate ceremony and dinner reception on the boat as we sailed into the sunset. Melissa and Brennan's love for each other and their closest people was refreshing to watch and photograph, and I am so happy they were able to have a wedding as dream-like as this. After the wedding, they asked if I wanted to join them at their home for a campout, and of course I said yes. More after-wedding campouts, please!
