Emilee + Zach's Wedding And Day-Before Session In Kansas City, Missouri.
Emilee + Zach got married during the covid pandemic in their grandma's backyard. I drove out to meet them in downtown Kansas City the day before their wedding for a short session. We strolled through the seemingly empty streets of KC and finished at Union Station with the most incredible light. The following day was filled with lots of laughs, smiles, tears, and definitely more wind than any of us would have liked. Emilee's grandma's house was a dream to shoot at, and I believe that these images are a testament that backyard weddings can be even more special than a venue. The images below are a highlight of their wedding day, and have become some of my favorite images to date.
